special interest groups

Special interest groups
INPA Executive Committee is piloting (2019-2023)  two special interest groups (SIG).
Each SIG  focuses on a clinical specialty within neurological physical therapy practice.

The groups are
1. INPA Movement Disorders
2. INPA Vestibular Rehabilitation

These groups will support INPA to:
  1. advise the INPA Executive Committee on matters pertaining to its special subject
  2. undertake an agreed work program aimed to implement the INPA strategic plan
  3. promote the role of evidence-based neurological physical therapy practice worldwide
  4. nurture, support, and promote research within the topic field
  5. provide learning opportunities to support implementation of evidence and knowledge into practice
  6. identify experts to contribute to international policy forming institutions

The responsibilities of the group are to:
  1. implement the INPA and specialty groups' agreed work plan
  2. maintain communication and shared working on this plan with the INPA executive committee
  3. provide a safe, encouraging and supportive environment for members to advance neurologic practice
  4. work with healthcare professionals / organizations and patient / public groups to further the role of neurologic physiotherapy practice
  5. promote the work of INPA member groups
  6. communicate, via the INPA Executive Committee, with Members
