ABOUT US
The Vestibular Special Interest Group of the International Neurologic Physical Therapy Association was first established in March of 2017 as the International Vestibular Physical Therapy Group. Founding countries included Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, France, USA, and the UK.
In May of 2019 INPA members voted to bring us into their organization as one of the first Special Interest Groups.

Charles (Chuck) Plishka (USA) Physical Therapy Clinical Specialist with Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA. He is also the owner of Posture and Balance Concepts, LCC (continuing education).
Chuck is Chair of the INPA Vestibular Special Interest Group.
Chuck is primarily an acute care clinician. He also carries out research focussing on physical therapy vestibular education. His other research interests include vision loss and physical therapy. He teaches continuing education courses in neurology-related physical therapy topics, including vestibular therapy, Parkinson's disease and concussion.

José I Ortega Solís (France) earned his Degree in Physical Therapy from European University in Madrid, Spain. He currently works and lives in Lyon, France. He has started his career working in the neurological rehabilitation field and has become progressively interested in vestibular therapy.
José is Secretary of the INPA Vestibular Special Interest Group.

He has two post-graduate diplomas in vestibular rehabilitation from Lyon and Paris University, and has completed the Paediatric Vestibular Rehabilitation: Competency Based Course, Jacksonville (USA). He works in private practice and at a public hospital. He teaches courses on vestibular therapy, is involved with the French Society of Vestibular Physiotherapy (SFKV).
